Inspired by Inga Hanover’s Dainas exhibition, this workshop is designed for those seeking to explore Baltic heritage in a hands-on approach. Story-telling and sharing is highly encouraged in this peaceful workshop.

All students will receive their own band weaving back-strap kit to keep and continue their weaving journey. Included in the workshop cost.
Meet the Artist
Pinky Wittingslow is a multidisciplinary artist and the Studio Coordinator at MAMA. She was inspired to explore her own Lithuanian heritage in her weaving practice after experiencing Inga Hanover’s 2024 exhibition at Hyphen titled sen mēs tev jau gaidījām (sen mehs t-ev yauw gay-dee-yarm) we have been waiting for you long ago.
